1. Applying a coconut oil mask

A coconut oil mask has a moisturizing effect when applied to the hair.

People can prepare a simple hair mask by boiling curry leaves with coconut oil for 2-3 minutes and leaving it to rest in a cool place for a few days.

When the mixture has cooled, it can be gently rubbed into the hair and scalp with the fingertips and covered with a warm towel. It should then be left on for a few minutes before being rinsed.

 

2. Hot oils can be massaged into the scalp and add shine to dry hair.

1. Warm but do not boil around half a cup of oil.
2. Gently massage it into the hair for some minutes.
3. Cover the hair with a warm towel.
4. Leave for 30-45 minutes or overnight.
5. After this time, shampoo and rinse the hair.

This treatment will strengthen and add shine to dry hair.

 

3. Wash your hair with tea

Apart from giving relief from cold and cough, tea can make your hair shine too.

But remember, the colour of tea can change your hair colour too. So those with blonde hair might want to avoid black tea and use chamomile tea instead. Brunettes can use black tea.

After shampooing your hair, rinse with lukewarm tea.

 

4. Banana

Bananas are rich in moisture and potassium which make them effective for dry hair.

Split ends, softening of hair and elasticity can be improved with the use of banana on hair.

Mash one ripe banana. Apply it on hair, from roots to ends. Leave it for one hour and then wash the hair with warm water.
