Banana Face Mask

- Requirement:

- Banana

- Orange Juice

- Yogurt

- Direction:

- Take a banana mash it with a teaspoon of orange juice and a teaspoon of plain yogurt.

- Mixed them to form a creamy mask

- Apply it to your face for around 15-20 minutes.

- Benefits of Banana Mask

- The presence of Vitamin A helps in fading away the dark spots and blemishes while the Vitamin B prevents aging.

- The presence of Potassium acts as a moisturizer thus hydrating our skin cells.

- Lastly, the presence Vitamin E in bananas helps build the skin's resistance to UV damage.

Egg White Face Mask
 

- Requirement:

- Egg White

- Lemon Juice

- Honey

- Direction:

- Rejuvenating face mask that can be made by mixing one egg white, a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and half a teaspoon of honey.

- Benefits of Egg White Face Mask

- The presence of Vitamin A helps in fading away the dark spots and blemishes while the Vitamin B prevents aging.

- The presence of Potassium acts as a moisturizer thus hydrating our skin cells. 

- The presence Vitamin E in bananas helps build the skin's resistance to UV damage. This mixture can help tighten, tone and shrink the skin's pores. This home remedy is very beneficial for people who have oily skin.

- Egg whites are a great source of protein that the skin uses for tissue repair and growth.

- The potassium helps preserve the moisture in skin cells and Fiboflavin or Riboflavin helps in eliminating toxins and free radicals which have the potential to cause wrinkles.

- Magnesium is capable of slowing down the aging process, making one's skin radiant. Egg whites also contain Lysozyme that is capable of digesting the cell walls of acne-causing bacteria.

Aloe Vera
 

- Aloe Vera Known for its healing properties and enriched Vitamin E content, applying aloe vera on the skin for 90 days continuously can help us get rid of the wrinkles.

- Aloe Vera helps us in getting rid of the dull skin too.

Egg whites
 

- Eggs can do wonders for our skin and the Vitamin and protein compound present in them can help avoid wrinkles.

- Egg whites help in tightening our skin and also absorbs excess sebum from the skin.

- Apply egg white directly on the skin after whisking it and wash it with lukewarm water after it has dried completely.

Coconut Oil
 

- Using coconut oil regularly can help the wrinkles to fade and it also acts as a moisturizing agent. It also restores the elasticity of the skin as well.

- Coconut oil must be massaged under the affected areas and must be left overnight.

Banana Mask

- Bananas also result in proper hydration of the skin cells as well.

- Mashed bananas can be applied on the skin for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

Olive Oil
 

- If you wish to have softer skin, olive oil can prove a good friend to you. Olive oil is an excellent method to cure wrinkles as they effectively help in removing the fine lines.

- Olive oil increases the skin collagen levels. Massaging few drops of olive oil on the skin before sleeping and later cleaning it with a towel is effective for curing wrinkles.

Vaseline
 

- Vaseline is an age-old method to cure your wrinkled skin. Vaseline helps in locking the moisture in the skin.

- Apply Vaseline on the affected area and massage it for a few minutes and leave it overnight.

Cucumber mask
 

- Due to the presence of water, vitamins and minerals, a cucumber mask helps in tightening and hydrating the skin and protects it from dryness. Grate the cucumber and extract the juice. Apply the juice all over your face and rinse it with water.

Coconut Oil
 

- Coconut oil will give your skin a natural glow and radiance. Using it often will help to fade wrinkles and lines as coconut oil is moisturizing and hydrating for the skin. It restores the skin elasticity to a great extent.

- 1: Massage coconut oil under the eyes and other affected areas for a few minutes. Use gentle circular motions.

- 2: Leave the oil on overnight.

Note: Repeat this every night before going to bed.

Papaya Banana Mask
 

- Papaya is loaded with enzymes such as Papain, while banana is rich in vitamins that help in revitalizing your skin. This pulp is a good antidote for premature aging signs.

- 1: Puree the two fruits (small piece of papaya and 1/2 banana) together and apply the paste on those fine lines on your forehead.

- 2: Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.

- Note: Use this fruit mask once or twice a week.

Tomato Mask

- Tomato is rich in beta-carotene and Lycopene that reverse the damage caused by the harmful sun rays. Fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and freckles can all be reduced and lightened with this tomato mask.

- 1. Cut the tomato in half and dip the inner half in sea salt.
- 2. Scrub your face with this for a minute or so.
- 3. Leave the tomato pulp that has oozed out onto your skin on for 5 minutes. Rinse with water.

- Note: Repeat this twice every week. You can also include tomato paste in your diet for better results.

Almond Mask
 

- Almonds contain vitamin E that restores the natural elasticity of the skin. Along with the milk, almonds moisturize the skin and make it soft and glowing.

- 1. Soak the almonds overnight in the milk.

- 2. Remove the almond peels in the morning and grind along with the milk they were soaked in to make a paste. - 3. Apply this on the face and let it dry for 15 minutes. Rinse with water.

- Note: Do this twice a week for young and healthy skin.

Egg Whites
 

- Instead of trying out those anti-wrinkle creams, reach out for egg whites. Wrinkles and sagged skin will soon be a thing of the past with this simple home remedy. The egg whites tighten your skin naturally, easing fine lines and laugh lines.

- This remedy is especially good for people with oily skin as egg white also unclogs pores and absorbs the excess sebum from the skin.

- 1. Gently whisk the egg white and apply it on your skin.

- 2. Allow it to dry completely. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.

- Note: Use this face mask once or twice a week.

Yogurt Mask

- The lactic acid and other natural enzymes present in yogurt cleanse the pores and shrink them. This exerts a tightening effect on the skin, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Yogurt also diminishes scars and makes your skin smooth.

- 1. Mix the olive oil and yogurt. Beat the mixture gently so that the oil is completely blended with the yogurt.

- 2. Apply this on your face and neck. Leave it on for 20 minutes.

- 3. Rinse with lukewarm water.

- Note: Use this fruit mask once or twice a week.

Fenugreek Seeds

- Fenugreek seeds are packed with Viatmin C, K and anti oxidants which are activated when soaked in water (a process called imbibition). These help with slowing down the aging process and also visibly reduce any redness or discoloration on your face. They also lighten dark circles and give a much firmer, brighter and even tone to your skin.
You will need 1Tbsp Fenugreek Seeds (soaked overnight) and 1 Tbsp Yogurt

- 1. Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight. In the morning, strain the seeds and blend the seeds with the yogurt in a blender until a smooth paste like consistency is reached. Make sure that the paste is not too runny otherwise it will not stay on your face.

- 2. Apply the paste on your face and leave on for at least 30 minutes.

- 3. Rinse off with lukewarm water

- 4. Give a splash of cold water to close the pores at the end.

- Note: You can pour the water from the seeds into a pray bottle and spray over your hair. Leave in hair for at least 1 hour (best if left overnight). Finish off by washing off with a mild shampoo. The lecithin in the water from the Fenugreek seeds will give instant shine to your hair, fix any damages and strengthen your hair.

Apple Cider Vinegar
 

- Apple cider vinegar has various medical benefits i.e. its a good source of Vitamin E that transports nutrients into the skin cell; Keep the skin hydrated and prevent wrinkles; Vinegar reduces the fine lines and gives the glowy and youthful appearance.

- What you need: Apple Cider Vinegar, Glycerine - 2. Dip the cotton ball in the mixture and cleanse the face before going to bed. It will give you soft and smooth skin the next day.

- Alternatively:

- Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice with 3-4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Mix well, and apply the mixture evenly on the face. Wash your face with lukewarm water and use moisturizer. Add this into your daily use, you will see visible changes.
You can also: Mix turmeric powder with the vinegar and make a thick paste. 2 tablespoons of vinegar juice and 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder is absolutely fine. Stir well to avoid lumps. Apply this mixture on the affected part and let it dry for just 15-20 minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water. For best result use this mask twice a week.

Avocado

- Have you ever checked out the ingredients of your favorite natural anti-wrinkle cream? You are bound to see avocado in it. This fruit is a blessing for those with premature wrinkles. Along with halting premature aging, it reduces wrinkles and pampers your skin back to health. Your skin will glow with radiance and vitality.

- 1. Peel and remove the pit of the fruit.

- 2. Mash the pulp to get a smooth paste.

- 3. Apply this on the skin for 20-30 minutes before you step into the shower.

- Note: Repeat this once or twice a week.

Cucumber Mask

- This one is yet another home remedy for wrinkle-free skin that is simply fail proof. Cucumber contains 95% water and many minerals and vitamins. Within a few applications, you will see that the wrinkles and dark circles have visibly reduced.

- 1. Scoop out the seeds from the cucumber and grate the rest.

- 2. Squeeze the grated cucumber to extract the juice.

- 3. Gently cleanse your skin and apply this all over your face. Let it dry naturally and then rinse with water.

- Note: Repeat this once every day.

Honey

- Heavy work really tells on your eyes, and with age, they get wrinkles and look very tired. Counter this by applying best quality bee's honey around the skin of your eyes. It balances the skin's pH and conditions it to decrease the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. 

- 1. Apply honey on your skin and massage for a minute or so.

- 2. Leave it on for a half an hour and then rinse with lukewarm water.

- Alternatively: You can also shred a small piece of ginger and add it to the honey for added benefits.

- Note: Do this every day for healthy and youthful skin.

Lemon Juice

- Lemon juice is not just useful to quench your thirst during the summer, but you can use it as part of your beauty treatment as well. Its vitamin C content helps in rebuilding collagen in the skin, which in turn fades away wrinkles and fine lines.

- 1. Mix equal quantities of lemon juice and honey.
- 2. Apply the mixture on your face and neck. Let it dry for 10 minutes.
- 3. Rinse with lukewarm water.

- Note: You can repeat this twice a week.

Jojoba Oil
 

- Jojoba oil is quite similar to the natural oil produced by the skin. It gets easily absorbed into the skin and lubricates it. With regular use, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced.

- 1. Apply a few drops of jojoba oil on your face. Massage gently.
- 2. Leave it on for a few hours.

- Note: Do this every day for wrinkle-free skin.

Turmeric Mask
 

- Turmeric and sugarcane will synergically slow down the loosening of skin. Sugarcane juice contains glycolic acid that removes dead skin cells and turmeric possesses healing properties that rejuvenate the skin.

- 1. Make a paste with the turmeric powder and sugarcane juice. Mix well so that there are no lumps.

- 2. Apply this and leave it on for 10-12 minutes.

- 3. Rinse with lukewarm water.

- Note: Use this mask twice a week. Turmeric and sugarcane will synergically slow down the loosening of skin. Sugarcane juice contains glycolic acid that removes dead skin cells and turmeric possesses healing properties that rejuvenate the skin.

Baking Soda
 

- Baking soda is an exfoliating product that removes dead cells and also any impurities that have accumulated in your pores.

- It improves the cell turnover and blood circulation, which help in reducing wrinkles.

- 1. Make a baking soda paste and use it to scrub the affected areas gently.

- 2. Scrub for a few minutes in circular motions.

- 3. Rinse with water, pat dry and moisturize.

Alternatively: You can also apply the baking soda paste as a mask and let it dry for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off.
Note: Baking soda mask or scrub can be used twice a week. This home remedy can leave your skin a little dry. Do not forget moisturize the skin after this.

Rosehip Oil

- This essential oil is excellent for deep wrinkles and other signs of premature aging. The Duchess of Cambridge swears by the anti-aging effects of this oil. The vitamin A, vitamin E, and fatty acids present in it penetrate into the deeper layers of skin and lighten scars and banish wrinkles.

- 1. Apply the oil on your face and massage until it is absorbed.

- 2. Leave it on overnight.

- Note: Use this every night.

Argan Oil
 

- Argan oil is easily absorbed into the skin. It contains a high amount of essential fatty acids and vitamin E that replenish the skin. Its regular usage will reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

- 1. Massage the affected area with argan oil.
- 2. Leave it on.

- Note: Repeat this once or twice a day.

Vitamin E Capsules
 

- Vitamin E is known to moisturize and refresh your skin with its skin hydrating property and antioxidants. It also has anti-inflammatory and photoprotective effects on the skin. This renews the skin's vigor and diminishes wrinkles.

- 1. Pierce the capsule and pour the oil present inside into a small bowl. Open as many as capsules as required to cover the affected area.

- 2. Apply this oil and massage the area for a few minutes.

- 3. Leave it on for a couple of hours.

- Note: This is best done every night before going to bed.

Grape Seed Extract
 

- A grape could drape your wrinkles! The seed of this little fruit will help to tighten your skin and impart a healthy glow to it. It does this by supplying the skin with fatty acids, polyphenols, and vitamin E.

- 1. Massage the oil into the affected area.

- 2. Leave it on for as long as you can and then wash off.

- Note: A few re-runs over the next few weeks, and your skin will be supple and wrinkle-free.
