Symptoms of Kidney (Renal) Stone

• Pain that comes in waves and fluctuates in intensity
• Pain on urination
• Pink, red or brown urine
• Cloudy or foul-smelling urine
• Nausea and vomiting
• Persistent need to urinate
Urinating more often than usual
• Fever and chills if an infection is present
• Urinating small amounts of urine
When to see a doctor
Make an appointment with your doctor if you have any signs and symptoms that worry you. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience:

• Sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the center of your abdomen, just below your breastbone
Back pain between your shoulder blades
• Pain in your right shoulder
• Gallstone pain may last several minutes to a few hours
